Colour: De Michellot gentian liqueur has a clear, luminous golden colour with amber highlights. Its hue evokes the richness of carefully infused alpine plants. Nose: On the nose, the liqueur reveals an intense vegetal bouquet, dominated by gentian root. Fresh notes of oregano and a hint of citrus balance the bitterness, reminiscent of Auvergne meadows after the rain. Palate: The attack is frank, lively and herbaceous. The gentian root brings a typical bitterness, quickly softened by the roundness of the sugar (100 g/L) and the aromatic freshness of the oregano. The mid-palate reveals nuances of bark, sweet ginger and alpine plants.
